My Library

One of my goals this year is to read 10 books. It's easy to get caught up in television, movies or the internet and forget my love of reading... so I'll use this page to keep track of my progress. Besides, I've been wanting to share my reading list with you all anyway. Keep in mind some of these are rereads (for example The Great Gatsby is my favorite novel! I could read it over-and-over)!

  1. I haven't read any of these, but I did see Water For Elephants in theaters. My sister loved the book, though!
I'd say read anything by Mitch Albom or The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. :)

  2. I just finished "If God were your therapist" which is free on amazon download and I'm currently reading "30 days to everyday miracles". Both are sort of self-help books.I'm kind of reading random books right now. Of course any Stephen King book is always good in my view.

  3. Have you ever read Kite Runner or A Thousand Splendid Suns? Same author and awesome books. The Glass Castle was good and I just finished the Hunger Games series and loved it. I think Tina Fey's Bossypants is a must read! If To Kill a Mockingbird wasn't required reading for you in school, read it now. It is my all-time favorite!

  4. Have you read Lovely Bones? It is amazingly good!! I'm not sure if you would be interested in Lolita. It is messed in its own little ways, though the character thoughts are quite interesting to read.

  5. Have you read "The Host"? Written by the same lady who wrote the Twilight books so it's nothing you haven't heard of I'm sure but it's one of my favorites! (I hear a movie is in the works even)

    I have this same goal!

  8. I totally know what you mean about TV and the internet taking over all reading time. This year my goal is to read more too! I really want to re-read The Great Gatsby before the movie comes out! How was "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me"? I'm currently reading The Hunger Games. So far, so good!
